Matthew E. Gilson is a Partner of the firm and concentrates his practice primarily in redevelopment, land use and municipal law. In addition to his work with private development, Matt currently serves as counsel in a variety of roles to the various municipalities and public entites. He has also served as the election law attorney handling disputed elections and ballot issues including successfully removing an ineligible candidate from the ballot, obtaining a replacement candidate after the deadline for doing so following the death of the incumbent mayor, and winning a challenge to the 2020 Rochelle Park Township Committee election result.
He has been recognized by various publications for his role in the political arena. Matt is a graduate of Rutgers Law School (J.D. 2016) and received his undergraduate degree in political science from Seton Hall University (B.A. 2013).
