Judith Q. Bielan

Judith Q. Bielan, Esq., has been practicing law for over 30 years. Prior to joining Weiner Law Group, she founded, in 1993, the law firm of Bielan, Mildos & Makrogiannis, P.C.

Judy handles all aspects of family law, real estate, estate matters and contract disputes. She is a tough negotiator, and when a matter cannot be settled, a tough litigator. She currently serves on the New Jersey State Bar Association Legislative Committee. In the past, she volunteered and served on the Hudson County Bar Foundation, and on the Hudson County Bar Association’s Due Diligence, and Early Settlement Panel Committees. She is a former co-chair of the Hudson County Family Law Committee. She has also served on the Hudson County Fee Arbitration and as a Barrister for the Hudson County Inns of Court. She was an adjunct professor at Montclair State University, teaching Jurisprudence in 2018. She has been court-appointed to serve as a Commissioner on the Hudson County Condemnation Board and as court-appointed attorney for alleged incompetent persons.

In, 2010, Judy served as President of the Hudson County Bar Association. In 2005, she received the Hudson County Family Lawyer of the Year Award.

In 2000 Judy became a co-founder and director of BCB Bank, a position she continues to hold.

She has served the New Jersey and Hudson County communities by volunteering as a Trustee on the Board of “Women Rising”, coaching boys’ and girls’ basketball at Bayonne PAL, and serving as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of Holy Family Academy of Bayonne. She was inducted into the Bayonne PAL Hall of Fame in 2014. Ms. Bielan holds degrees from Montclair State College (now University) and Seton Hall University School of Law.
