About Sean M. Pena
Mr. Pena graduated from Dartmouth College in 2004 with a B.A. in International Relations. At Dartmouth, he was an Endowed Scholar recipient and a member of the football team. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Mr. Pena attended New York Law School, graduating in 2009, and was presented with the Community Service Award at Commencement. While attending law school, Mr. Pena clerked at Waters, McPherson, & McNeill.
Mr. Pena is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar, the District Court of New Jersey, and the Bar of the United States Courts of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pena served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Ernest M. Caposela, A.J.S.C., Passaic County. Since the completion of his clerkship, Mr. Pena has practiced in the areas of civil litigation and criminal defense. Mr. Pena handles insurance defense matters including but not limited to, defense of personal injury, employment, asbestos, toxic tort, construction defect, liquor liability, and products liability claims. Mr. Pena also defends municipalities, school boards, and public employees in matters specifically arising out of the New Jersey Tort Claims Act, the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, and 42.U.S.C. §1983.
In his personal time, Mr. Pena is dedicated to serving his community, Secaucus, NJ. Mr. Pena is the Director of Recreation Football where he oversees the entire recreation football program with children of ages ranging from 6-14.
