About Andrew L. Stern

Andrew has over 25 years of experience working with insurance companies, self-insureds, third party adjusters, commercial entities and individuals in civil defense litigation. He has handled numerous litigated matters including cases involving premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, products liability, wrongful death and survival, construction, insurance coverage, insurance fraud, employment law, commercial disputes and commercial leases. He regularly defends large retail establishments including shopping malls, big box retail stores and department stores and handles their commercial lease issues and disputes. He has worked with Insurance Company Special Investigative Units investigating, defending and prosecuting fraudulent claims. He has served as guest lecturer and seminar speaker in the areas of insurance coverage and insurance fraud. He has tried a number of cases to successful verdict and regularly appears in both State and Federal Courts including the Appellate Courts.

Andrew graduated from Williams College with a B.A. in Political Science in 1990. He received a J.D. degree from Penn State University, The Dickinson School of Law, in 1994, where he served as Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of International Law and as a member of the Appellate Moot Court Board. He served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Karen D. Russell, Presiding Civil Judge in the Morris and Sussex Vicinages, in 1994 and 1995.  He is admitted to the New Jersey Bar, New York Bar, and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey.
