About William G. Johnson
Bill has been licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey since 1992. After graduating from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, Bill clerked for the Karen Russell, P.J.S.C., the presiding civil division judge in Morris County. After his clerkship, Bill worked as an associate for Stephen “Skippy” Weinstein, concentrating in the areas of criminal defense and personal injury.
In 2006, Bill became partners with his father George Johnson, Esq., in Dover, New Jersey, until George’s retirement in 2021. Bill has been providing professional legal services to various public entities in and around Morris County since 2006. Currently, his Professional Legal Services include several responsibilities including the Morris County Office of Temporary Assistance and the Morris County Office of Adult Protective Services. In addition, Bill provides legal services to Morris County in the defense of civil lawsuits filed against the County, its agencies, and employees. He accepts similar assignments from the Morris County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund. Bill also represents the Morris County Open Space, Farmland, Floodplain Protection and Historic Preservation Trust Fund. He is currently the attorney for the Parsippany Zoning Board of Adjustment. He strives to provide clients with quality legal services.
